Albicocca – Mirella's Way

Recently, I’ve found myself thinking about the future more than ever—not just my own, but the kind of world my daughter will inherit.
The world is changing rapidly, and not always in ways I like. These reflections mark the beginning of something new for me: a blog about living simply, creatively, and responsibly.

I’ve been reading more about sustainability, and a few ideas began to surface:

• Start writing a blog
• Buy even more wisely

As I read about the fashion industry, I began wondering how I could add my small stone to the basket. Many companies already produce sustainable garments and raise awareness about the damage caused by fast fashion.

For a while, I considered starting a small business making woollen children’s garments. I even completed a course through The Woolmark Company on wool and the textile industry. But the deeper I went, the more I realised how complicated the subject was—especially when it came to sourcing truly sustainable wool.

At this stage in my life, with a six-year-old daughter who needs me more than ever, I knew I couldn’t fully commit to launching a business.

That’s why I chose this instead: to become a blog author.

Albicocca – Mirella’s Way is my small attempt to contribute something better to this world. A place to reflect, to create, and to live with intention.
